How to take Forxiga

Farxiga is a prescription drug that comes in tablet forms which should be taken by mouth. The dosage strength of Forxiga is 5mg and 10mg. Depending on your age and medical condition, your health-care provider will determine which dosage you should start with. The usual starting dose of dapagliflozin is 5mg that should be taken once every day in the morning. Inform your doctor if your medical condition does not improve after starting on this medication. In case the starting dose of 5mg does not properly control your levels of blood glucose, your health-care provider may need to adjust your dose to 10mg daily. Take this medication at the same time daily so that you can remember to take it every day. Carefully follow your exercise program and diet plan as you take this medicine.
